BestAfricanFX is an independent comparison and intelligence platform for African FX and remittance corridors. We help you find the provider that delivers the most value — we never hold, transfer or convert your money.

Our rankings, ratings, analysis and projections are completely independent. They are never affected or influenced by provider sponsorships, partnerships, advertisements, promotions, collaborations or any other commercial relationship. No provider can pay us to appear in — or move up — our comparisons.

Rankings are purely rate-based. Providers are always ordered by the objective effective rate they deliver for your specific transfer — the amount your recipient receives relative to what you pay — or by user rating if you choose that view. The order is determined solely by the data, never by any commercial arrangement.

We may earn a commission. Some providers pay us a commission when a customer reaches them through BestAfricanFX — for example when you click through to a provider from our comparisons, or when a transfer originates from us. This revenue helps fund the platform, but it plays no part whatsoever in how any provider is ranked, rated, analysed or projected. A provider receives no ranking advantage of any kind.

If a provider is ever shown as part of a sponsorship or advertising arrangement, it is clearly labelled “Sponsored”, sits outside the ranked results, and is never given preferential ranking. Sponsorship only affects labelling, never order.

Our platform is funded by our Plus and enterprise data subscriptions, by provider commissions, and by clearly-labelled provider promotions — our only editorial incentive is to help you make a better-informed choice.
